Theatre Teacher

The Newman School is seeking a part-time Theatre Teacher. Newman School Faculty report directly to the Assistant Head of School and are a member of an educational department. The teacher is responsible for planning and implementing the course curriculum as designed and assigned by the department chair and meeting the departmental major objectives. The successful candidate will be a passionate educator who is committed to the mission of Newman and displays a sensitivity to and understanding of students with diverse learning styles. The Theatre Teacher will foster a positive structured and caring environment while also adhering to the goals of the International Baccalaureate - to develop inquiring knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
