Time Requirements : Part Time / Seasonal Position Duties
Duties :
Assist in daily business operations :
- Answer the phone
- Maintain reservation system
- Interact with customers in a positive and friendly manner
- Operate POS and register system
- Prepare and clean rental equipment
- Assist customers with basic paddling skills
- Load and unload equipment on trailer
- Deliver rental equipment to local cottages and launch sites
Assist in marketing objectives :
Update social media messagingStage marketing photographyShare ideas for marketing events, sales, specials and new marketing projectAssist in planning, promoting, and managing scheduled special events throughout the season.
Essential Functions :
Have the desire to learn, serve others, and make a differenceWillingness and physical ability to work on a variety of projects, which will include using power and hand toolsHeavy lifting, bending, and carrying up to 60 poundsWalking and working across steep or uneven terrainWorking in extremes of heat or cold, as well as being exposed to biting and stinging insectsAbility to perform tasks as part of a cooperative teamNon-judgmental attitude, sensitivity to others, approachableResponsible and reliableInterest in personal growth and in participating in on-going trainingThe ability to operate a STPC vehicle to transport rental equipmentQualifications :
Previous experience in outdoor recreation preferredMust have a valid driver’s licenseMust be able to lift 60lbsEnjoy working outdoorsEnjoy working with customersBenefits :
