Service Technician – Mechanical & Controls Focus

Position Overview
Performs electrical and mechanical inspection, start-up and controls programming on state of the art, specialized, complex HVAC equipment.

The successful candidate currently is (or will be able to be) proficient in complex systems, particularly HVAC, mechanical, controls, and site-built systems as well as troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems, including high / low voltage power circuits, control sequence setup, airflow, refrigeration circuit arrangements, and various heating and hydronic systems. Computer skills are essential.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to operate computer keyboard and reach with hands. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is continually required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and / or move up to 75 pounds. The employee must be able to climb ladders, while carrying a 40-50 lb backpack of tools. The employee will be required to be in the elements for long durations of time year-round, including working on a building roof during the summer heat and winter cold and snow. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Compensation
If you are constantly recognized for hard work and going above and beyond, we want you on our team and will compensate you over industry averages. Pay range is $25.00 – $40.00 per hour plus bonuses for hard workers and retirement plan depending on company profitability. We provide a service van and tools for technicians.
