We're looking for a proactive and detail-driven Tax Manager to lead our growing tax function. This is a high-impact role responsible for ensuring compliance across all tax areas while driving tax planning strategies that align with our business goals.

If you're a CPA with a solid foundation in corporate tax, multi-state filings, and ASC 740-and you're ready to step into a strategic leadership role-this could be the opportunity for you.

What You'll Do as a Tax Manager :

Lead the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals

Own and drive tax planning initiatives to optimize the company's overall tax position

Ensure ongoing compliance with evolving federal and state tax regulations

Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors and tax advisors

Lead the company's response to IRS and state audits-including documentation and communication

Oversee ASC 740 reporting and collaborate with accounting teams during close processes

Mentor and guide junior tax team members, helping them grow and develop

Identify opportunities to improve and automate tax processes and internal controls

What the company needs in a Tax Manager :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's in Taxation preferred)

CPA certification required

5+ years of progressive tax experience, including prior supervisory responsibilities

Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax, multi-state taxation, and tax accounting standards

Hands-on experience with tax tools and software (e.g., OneSource, CCH, Vertex) and ERP systems

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
