Full-Time Front Desk Associate
PrideStaff is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Full-Time Front Desk Associate to be the welcoming face and voice of our mobile laundry service client. In this critical role, you will manage all aspects of customer intake and service, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for every client. This position is ideal for someone who excels at customer interaction and possesses strong organizational and cash-handling skills.
Location : Concord, NC 28027
Compensation : Starting at $20+ per hour
Schedule : Full-Time (Approximately 35-40 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities :
- Customer Welcoming & Management : Warmly greet customers, manage the flow of drop-offs and pick-ups, and ensure a professional and timely service experience.
- Point-of-Sale (POS) Mastery : Accurately and efficiently process a high volume of transactions, including payments, refunds, and discounts using the POS system.
- Financial Management : Handle all cash, credit, and digital transactions; perform daily cash drawer reconciliation and prepare bank deposits.
- Phone & Digital Communication : Professionally answer and manage all incoming calls, respond to customer emails / texts, address inquiries, and provide clear communication on service options and order status.
- Order Processing & Inventory : Assist customers with detailed intake procedures, accurately log new orders, print tags, and coordinate efficiently with the back-of-house team.
- Administrative Support : Maintain organized customer records, manage service scheduling, and assist with general office tasks as needed.
- Problem Resolution : Independently and courteously resolve customer service issues and complaints, ensuring satisfaction and escalating complex matters to management when necessary.
- Facility Presentation : Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front desk, lobby, and waiting area throughout the day.
Qualifications & Requirements :
Age Requirement : Must be 21 years of age or older (non-negotiable).Experience : Extensive, hands-on experience operating a Point-of-Sale (POS) system in a fast-paced environment is required.Customer Service : Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional, and patient demeanor, capable of handling busy periods effectively.Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a clear, professional phone presence.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $20.00 - $25.00 Per Hour
