Virginia Nursing Job Details

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1980–$2120

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (October 20, 2025 – January 17, 2026)

Healthcare Setting : Operating Room (SCH Operating Room)

Shift : 8-hour day shifts (Monday–Friday, 6 : 45am–3 : 15pm) with rotating evening, night, weekend, and holiday call

Hours per Week : 40

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Virginia Registered Nurse (RN) license

Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience (2 years preferred); experience in a 400+ bed facility with open and endoscopic, vascular, and neurosurgery preferred

Robotic surgery experience required

BLS certification required; ACLS preferred

Ability to scrub preferred

COVID and Flu vaccination or declination required

OR RN Responsibilities

Provide safe, effective, and compassionate perioperative nursing care for surgical patients, including general, neuro, open vascular, endo vascular, urology, ENT, oral maxillofacial, and robotic procedures (Xi platform)

Assist with pediatric ENT and labor & delivery cases as needed

Participate in rotating call schedule for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Maintain accurate documentation and uphold infection control standards

Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes

No floating required for this travel nursing assignment
