Job description

As a Fire Control Specialist, you will use strategic skills to coordinate and integrate weapons operations. You will process and relay tactical battlefield information to a network of joint fires in support of mission-based operations.

This role involves integrating information from multiple users and sensors through the Army and other service networks, operating computer and database systems, and requiring strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

To succeed in this position, you will need to meet certain requirements, including being a U.S. citizen, between 17 and 34 years old, having a high school diploma or GED, meeting tattoo guidelines, having no major law violations, no medical concerns, and being eligible for a Secret Security Clearance.

The training and certification process for this role includes 10 weeks of Basic Training, 7 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, and nationally recognized certifications available. The role also requires skills such as information processing, calculating and recording data, and weapons operations.
