Job description

Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Specialty : MRI Technologist

  • 36 hours per week
  • Shift : 12 hours, nights
  • Employment Type : Travel

HIGHLIGHTS :

  • Minimum Years of Experience required : 1 year
  • Will accept a first-time traveler : Yes
  • Required ARRT(R) or NMTCB, ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT
  • Required BLS
  • State Licensure is not required
  • No floating required
  • 5 days departmental orientation but flexible based on needs of traveler
  • Call varies and is staffed with a fair rotation between full time, part time, PRN and Traveler teammates
  • No rotations between weekends and weekdays
  • Travelers would stay on days and shifts per the contract
  • RTO : Manager approval
  • Travelers will be expected to help holiday coverage unless approved off in advance

    • CMC 874 beds, LCH 247 beds

  • Level I Trauma; Level 1 Pediatric Trauma
  • Teaching Hospital
  • Chest Pain Center
  • Stroke Center
  • Patient Types : Adults and Pediatrics from ED, ICUs, Nursing units and outpatients across the full spectrum of radiology exams and diagnosis
  • Skills required : Confident of their clinical skill sets with ability to work in a fast paced, high patient acuity environment. Good communication skills and attitude of helpfulness and teamwork strongly preferred
  • Support within the Department : All departments have a lead tech, modality supervisor, and Imaging Manager. Diverse team with various years of experience from new grads to long tenure teammates

    EMR : EPIC

  • Department specific Equipment : Siemens 1.5T magnets
