Accounts Payable Specialist

Growing industry leader in the Capital Region is adding to their accounting group with an opening for an Accounts Payable Specialist. Primary responsibilities for this role would include :

• Input and batch all accounts payable invoices
• Process adjoining journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
• Performs research and maintains records of all problem accounts payable vendor invoices
• Processes ACH / Manual checks with necessary supporting documentation
• Reviews and resolves issues related to received goods not invoiced (unvouchered AP) items listing
• Reconciles Inter-company invoices in Accounts Payable to amounts "cleared" as a part of month end procedures
