Job Summary
- The Irrigation Foreman detects and makes repairs to the irrigation system.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Detect and repair the irrigation systemRead and interpret various gauges related to the irrigation systemManage employees and oversee production in the fieldEnsure a safe environment for other workers and vendors, clients and for all employeesOperate light / heavy equipment effectively and according to all regulationsEnsure that equipment is maintained and managed; alert supervisors if there are any issuesReport any problems with job site or equipment immediatelyDemonstrate role model behaviors on ethics and integrity as promote company cultureEducation and Experience :
Commercial irrigation installation experience - minimum 2 years of experience in irrigationStrong work ethic - Knowledge of blueprintsEffective oral and written communication skillsAbility to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environmentBilingual (Spanish) a plusIrrigation certification is a plusPhysical Demands / Requirements :
Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking and repetitive motions.Must be able to perform medium work exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and / up to 50 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Must possess the visual acuity to operate equipment and motor vehicles, perform trades tasks, inspect the work of others, and review work for accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness.Work Environment :
