The Procurement Manager will report to the Senior Director, Cash and Treasury and will be responsible to develop and implement cost effective strategies for the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services to support the company's needs. Duties include, but are not limited to, sourcing essential services and products for the company, developing and issuing requests for proposals (RFPs), evaluating suppliers and comparing costs, negotiating purchase agreements and ensuring compliance with Company policies. This position works very closely with Legal, Vendor Management and all areas of the company and will provide leadership and mentoring for the Senior Specialist Procurement.

This is a hybrid role that will work onsite 2 days per week at our Buffalo Grove, IL office. Occasional travel may be required as part of this position.

Responsibilities

• Negotiating goods and services contracts and leading cost reduction initiatives.
• Establishing and nurturing partnerships with key stakeholders to guarantee the prompt delivery of goods and services. Actively engaging with all stakeholders to gain an in-depth understanding of their needs and take proactive action to ensure needs are effectively met.
• Recommending SLAs and assisting in monitoring supplier performance and addressing any issues arising from contracts.
• Identifying possible consolidation of suppliers across Onbe to negotiate better pricing and reduce expenses.
• Monitoring and approving requisition activity to ensure all requests are handled and processed promptly.
• Leveraging sourcing companies to obtain benefits for Onbe.
• Monthly reporting of expected Savings Pipeline and key performance metrics.
• Developing and implementing procurement policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Coordinating the RFP process, including evaluation of proposals and selection of vendors.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The base salary range for this position is between $113,130 to $130,000 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, business needs, and market demand.
