SUMMARY :
Plan, design, develop and implement management and staff training for the organization. Perform interventions and coaches for the purpose of individual and / or organization improvement. Consults, evaluates and coaches areas based on Patient and Employee Engagement. Designs and implements customized organizational learning and development interventions for assigned audiences to drive change and hardwire Commitment to Exceptionalism across AnMed. Collaborates with the Director of Training and Organizational Development to prioritize the implementation of organizational initiatives and leads these initiatives when applicable.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Plans, assesses, develops, designs, implements and facilitates training curriculum and develops instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops.
2. Evaluates, monitors, and administers customized training interventions and recommends revisions to training curriculum and methods as needed.
3. Respond to organizational needs through the development and production of alternative instructional methods such as audio, video, CBT, and others.
4. Assists Director with the development of performance action plans for individuals.
5.Collaborates with the Director and develops a system for evaluating and coaching departments / units based on Patient / Employee Engagement scores with Press Ganey and / or HCAHPS.
6. Conducts the organizational education needs assessment every 18 months, and evaluates results for recommendations to the TOD Director and Nursing Staff Development.
7. Participates in or initiates organizational special projects and participants in organizational committees.
8. Assist with TOD payroll / time maintenance when needed
9. Participates in the on-boarding for new leaders, and participates in the career pathing of managers and staff.
10. Participates in implementing Strategic Initiatives when applicable.
11. Maintain education records / documentation as necessary to meet requirements of AnMed regulatory agencies.
12. Administers AnMed’s Best Practice Standards for Continuing Education Units and compiles / manages our CEU’s, and leads our quarterly Steering Committee.
