Pay Rate : $45 – $50 per hour

Schedule : Monday–Friday, Core Business Hours

Job Summary

The Credit Analyst (Credit Bureau Dispute Specialist) supports credit reporting accuracy by researching, analyzing, and resolving direct and indirect consumer credit disputes. This role involves handling sensitive consumer data, interacting with internal stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations and credit industry standards .

The successful candidate will possess strong analytical, communication, and resolution skills, with hands-on experience using CRRG and e-OSCAR systems to manage Automated Consumer Dispute Verifications (ACDV).

Key Responsibilities

Research and resolve direct and indirect credit bureau disputes received through mail, email, or e-OSCAR.

Utilize internal systems, third-party databases, and analytical tools to ensure accurate and timely credit reporting.

Maintain data integrity and ensure all PII and credit bureau information is handled securely and confidentially.

Identify and correct inaccurate credit information provided to Credit Reporting Agencies (CRAs).

Document dispute resolutions accurately within internal systems.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to clarify reporting discrepancies and improve resolution turnaround.

Participate in daily team huddles to review production goals and performance metrics.

Ensure all credit reporting activities comply with Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and other applicable federal regulations.

Required Experience

Minimum 3+ years of experience in credit analysis, dispute resolution, or financial operations.

Experience working with CRRG and e-OSCAR platforms.

Demonstrated ability to resolve direct and indirect credit disputes efficiently.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.

Preferred Experience

CDIA certification (Credit Data Industry Association) preferred.

Knowledge of commercial loan risk assessment and underwriting principles.

Experience with large financial institutions or credit bureau operations.

Required Skills

Credit dispute resolution and credit bureau data analysis

Regulatory compliance (FCRA, ECOA)

Analytical problem-solving and reporting

Preferred Skills

Project-based work experience in financial or credit operations

Advanced Excel and data management skills

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

Additional Skills

Collaborative team orientation

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
