Job description
Box Truck Driver
$18/hr - Paid Weekly
Toledo, Ohio
Truck Driver Schedule – Monday thru Friday starting at 7:30am.
End times vary based on route (usually early to mid-afternoon with full staff)

Job Description:
  1. Pick-up of donations and delivery of product as dictated by the daily pick-up schedule. Driver is responsible to load and unload the vehicle.
  2. Sorts produced picked up by category (Dairy, Bread/Baked Goods, Product, Meat, Assorted Product)
  3. Stages product brought back to warehouse in designated area and in proper temperature storage.
  4. Communicate with Food Sourcing Manager concerning issues/concerns with incoming and outgoing product.
  5. Complete driver audit sheets as directed.
  6. Cleanliness of vehicle cab and box.
  7. Proper use of Food Bank equipment including, but not limited to, vehicle and pallet jack scale.
  8. Maintenance of vehicle used to transport product.
  9. Outside and Inside of vehicle must be clean and free from debris
  10. Lights, wipers, seatbelts, etc. are all functioning properly
  11. All problems related to the vehicle are reported promptly
  12. Complete daily vehicle checks
  13. Report any problems or concerns about donors to the Food Sourcing Manager.
  14. Report any problems or concerns about agencies to the Agency Relations Specialist.
Skills/Job Requirements: Previous driving experience
Pallet Jack Experience
Able to use routing software on assigned iphone
Able to lift 40 + pounds
Valid Driver License
DOT Medical Certificate
**Able to pass drug screen – We have a zero policy for the drug screen, this includes marijuana
Good BMV record ( No OVI/DUI in last 5 years, no more that 2 moving violations or accidents or combination of both in last 2 years)
