What you’ll be doing
Supporting vets during exams, surgeries, dental work, and treatment procedures
Handling nursing tasks : placing IVs, monitoring anesthesia, managing fluid therapies, giving medications, etc.
Doing medical math — drug calculations, CRIs, conversions, and more
Working closely with clients : explaining care, educating, and helping them understand treatment plans
Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient treatment area
Safely restraining pets (yes, sometimes they’re a little big!)
Staying flexible : adjusting to shifting priorities and taking on stress calmly and professionally
What we’re looking for
At least 2 years of experience as a veterinary technician (or similar role)
Strong technical skills and comfort in a fast-paced clinical setting
Excellent verbal and written communication — with teammates and with pet parents
Solid time-management, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
Physical stamina : lifting / restraint, being on your feet most of the day
A positive, team-first attitude, even when things get hectic
