We are hiring an energetic, motivated, innovative individual to be a part of our team supporting Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in Baltimore, MD. The Systems Integration Engineer works closely with the Program team, CMS Hybrid Cloud Partners, CMS Hosting Coordinators, and CMS Stakeholders to manage, maintain, and optimize application's performance, durability, and cost to best support CMS and the general public. The Systems Integration Engineer will deliver solutions that ultimately ensure that the functions of Medicare, Medicaid, and Marketplace are carried out for the US citizen and contribute to efforts to reduce healthcare costs.
As ystems Integration Engineer , you will play a pivotal role in advising our customers on their cloud adoption and transformation journeys. Your expertise in cloud technologies, coupled with strategic thinking and business acumen, will enable our clients to leverage cloud solutions effectively to achieve their business objectives.
Under general supervision, a Systems Integration Engineer defines and executes integration engineering activities within a project. These activities may consist of concept exploration and assessment, systems integration, GIS integration, legacy systems integration, performance management, technology assessment, testing and validation, and development and staffing of a systems integration plan.
You will be the catalyst for solutions that are highly innovative and achieved through research and integration of industry best practices. You will influence development of solutions that impact strategic project / program goals and business results while also leading work of other cloud partners. You will resolve highly complex problems using significant application of technical knowledge, conceptualizing, reasoning and interpretation. You will interact daily with various technical resources across different vendors which are fulfilling technical requirements for the customer.
Your goal will be to work with all stakeholders to help Client ensure delivery of high-quality, robust, and scalable solutions with minimal business impact. Lastly and most importantly, you will represent the IUSG Front Office, Managed Infrastructure Service Provider (MiSP), and CMS' various Product Owners when meeting with the Application Development Organizations (ADO). You will help coordinate the identification of opportunities to provide support, modernization, innovation, and other opportunities for their application.
