Join our dynamic Critical Care Float Pool team! We are seeking dedicated Clinical Nurses to enhance their skills in various critical care areas, including Neuro-Surgical Trauma ICU, Medical ICU, Coronary Care Unit, Cardiovascular ICU, and our progressive critical care unit.
As a Clinical Nurse, you will have the unique opportunity to work across all Critical Care areas at our region's only Level I trauma center, further expanding your expertise and competencies, including experience in Emergency Department care and neuro-progressive care areas.
Key Responsibilities :
- Implement physician orders, administer medications, and perform treatments and procedures.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients' conditions.
- Evaluate and address patient needs through compassionate and effective care.
- Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to develop comprehensive Plans of Care.
- Guide and support ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.
Qualifications :
Must be a graduate of an accredited professional nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree.Current NYS Registered Nurse license required.Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) needed.1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Progressive Care or ICU is preferred.Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.Knowledge of quality concepts and problem-solving techniques.We thank you for your interest in joining us!
