Pediatric Emergency Room Nurse (PEDS ER RN)

StartDate : ASAP Available Shifts : 7 : 00 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM

The Pediatric ER RN provides immediate and specialized care to infants, children, and adolescents experiencing medical emergencies. This role demands quick thinking, clinical expertise, and compassionate communication with both young patients and their families in high-stress situations. They will stabilize patients experiencing trauma and help minimize pain. Pediatric ER RN’s work in hospital emergency rooms and departments (ER and ED), ambulances, helicopters, urgent care centers, sports arenas, and more. ER' s and hospitals are given a Trauma Rating I-III based upon the kinds of resources available in a trauma center, and the number of patients admitted yearly. Level I is the highest (capable of providing total care for every aspect of injury) and Level III (Level 3) being the lowest.

Education / Requirements :

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) : 4-Year Education
• Associate's degree in nursing (ADN) : 2-Year Education
• You must earn an ADN or BSN degree and pass the NCLEX to apply for a license as a RN.
• RN ‘s can only work with an active state license.
• BSN Required 2 years recent experience required
