Target Freight Management Inc. (TFM) is a well-established and rapidly growing third party logistics company headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA. We are seeking to fill a Web Developer position.

Job Summary and Responsibilities :
The Web Developer will develop, maintain, and support. TFM software applications and other custom solutions. Tasks include, but are not limited to the following :
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
- Create website layout / user interface by using standard HTML / CSS practices
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
- Create and maintain software documentation
- Respond to and resolve software related help desk tickets
- Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies / industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize web pages for security and responsiveness
- Understand and use multiple programming languages to code
- Review and test code submissions from other developer on the teams
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
- Writing test cases for new and existing functionality
- All other duties assigned by management
Skills and Qualifications :
Minimum 3 years of hands-on web development experience requiredExperience using AI coding tools to assist with the development and testingAbility to communicate effectively across all levels of both customer and carrier’s organizationsProven working experience in web programmingTop-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML / CSSExperience with web-based programming languages such as PHP (preferred) or PythonExperience with ReactJS or comparable front end frameworksStrong knowledge of relational database design, optimization, and SQLA solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practicesWorking knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming, and web application developmentAbility to effectively diagnose application problems and demonstrate creative problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with automated back end testing tools such as PHPUnitStrong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumenEffective communication skills are a must, as you will be expected to work with other team members not related to the IT department to work through fixes and enhancements on the sitePerks and Benefits :
