Position Overview
Our client, a leading private university in Los Angeles, is seeking an End-Point Engineer, Principal to join their Medical Enterprise. You will serve as a technical leader, driving strategy, design, and implementation of Citrix solutions. This role will influence process improvements, lead enterprise-level strategy development, and serve as a subject matter expert across multiple projects. The engineer will provide mentorship to less experienced team members, contribute to performance evaluations, and advise management on critical issues. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical solutions, disaster recovery planning, capacity management, and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture strategy and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Define domain-specific architecture design and best practices in alignment with enterprise architecture strategy.
- Architect, design, and deploy Citrix solutions including XenApp, XenDesktop, NetScaler, StoreFront, AppLayering, WEM, and UPM.
- Lead teams in analyzing issues, identifying root causes, and developing effective solutions.
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to engineers, architects, and developers.
- Develop and test disaster recovery solutions.
- Prepare technical documents, white papers, and roadmaps for long-term strategic solutions.
- Evaluate and anticipate the impact of technical solutions across projects and business needs.
- Participate in architectural and technical committees as a subject matter expert.
- Facilitate peer and principal-level reviews of technical designs and documentation.
- Provide consultation to software developers and engineers, including code design and implementation reviews.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field OR equivalent work experience.In lieu of a degree, 14 years of relevant IT or business support experience will be considered.Minimum 10 years of IT / business support experience.SCCM and endpoint management skillsExpert-level experience with :
