The current opening is Part-Time 1 : 30 pm - 8 : 00 pm.
Basic Responsibilities / Requirements :
- Provide 1 : 1 individualized behavior therapy in child's home and community settings
- Complete a daily data collection
- Lift up to 50 pounds, run, squat, sit on the floor, etc.
- Have reliable transportation and travel to multiple work sites
- Provide proof of valid driver license and current auto insurance
- Due to the sensitivity and confidentiality of the position candidates must Pass background / fingerprint clearance through Department of Justice if offered employment with BBC
Qualifications / Skills :
Registered Behavior Technician CertificateRequired Qualifications18 years of age or older,High School Diploma or equivalent,An employee of the Provider organization,Maintains a certification for the role of Qualified Autism Service Paraprofessional (accepted certifications include : Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT), and Applied Behavior Analysis Technician (ABAT), (proof required within 90-days of the first training day)Completed 40 hours of Competency-Based Training designed by a BCBA.Bilingual a plus (Spanish)
