Our global transportation company is expanding in the U.S. We seek a Business Development Representative who excels in collaborative environments. The Position & Title : Business Development Representative.
Responsibilities
- Manage and expand a portfolio of LTL & parcel clients, identifying logistics needs and providing tailored freight solutions.
- Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential LTL & parcel accounts.
- Identify key decision makers to initiate sales.
- Collaborate with team members to determine strategic sales approaches.
- Maintain and expand the company's database of prospects.
- Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate database and CRM.
- Work with various teams to ensure smooth communication and logistics service delivery.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell client services.
Qualifications
3–5 years in 3PL sales primarily within the LTL & parcel space with FTL as a tertiary service offering.Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and driving revenue growth.Strong negotiation skills with a keen understanding of market dynamics.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote (possibly) work environment while maintaining high levels of productivity.Employment Type
