15-18 shifts / month

% of Practice :

Low Risk : 100%

High Risk : 0%

GYN : 15% (emergency cases only)

C-Section : 25%

Nursery Admission : 2 per day

Physician in Practice : 4

Support Staff : 10 APPS, Full complement-RN, CNM's, 24 hour Peds, Anesthesia and surgical PAs

No of Beds : 16 (6 labor; 10 postpartum)

Lab and ultrasound onsite

Nursery Level : I

Required Procedures :

OB : Low Risk Pregnancy (i.e. History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis, etc.), F HR Interpretation NST / CST / FSE,OB ultrasounds, P erformance of Interpretation,OB ultrasounds, P erformance of Level I / Screening (Viability)

GYN : D &C,Surgical Gynecology Open,Laparoscopic Diagnostic / Minor Only-Tubal Ligation, L OA s, Chromal Tubation,Operative / Major (Includes Diagnostic) Ectopic Pregnancy, Ovary Removal, Cystectomy, Extensive LOA s

L&D : R outine Delivery Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section,Complicated Delivery C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc.,VBAC s,Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations

Other Info :

No Outpatient or elective surgeries

Other OB / GYNs will provide coverage during Locums coverage dates

EMR : Meditech

Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements : Active MA License

BC / BE

BLS

Local candidate (highly preferred)
