Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position offers a unique opportunity to provide essential speech and counseling services within a K-12 school setting in Kent County, MD. This itinerant role will involve working across five different schools, including both high school and elementary school environments, allowing for varied and impactful experiences each day.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver direct speech therapy and counseling services to students across K-12.
  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and testing.
  • Collaborate effectively with IEP teams to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
  • Travel between five schools within the county to provide consistent, high-quality support.
  • Adapt scheduling based on school-specific hours (elementary hours generally 8 : 30 am to 3 : 50 pm, high school hours from 7 : 45 am to 2 : 45 pm).

Qualifications :

  • Valid state certification / licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Experience working with K-12 students in school settings preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and applicable interventions.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently while traveling between multiple schools.
  • Location : Rock Hall, Kent County, MD

    This contract position extends through the complete school year, offering a rewarding schedule Monday through Friday, 7.5 hours per day.
