Senior Critical Environment Technician - Diesel Generators

Our client, a leader in critical infrastructure and data center operations, is seeking a Senior Critical Environment Technician - Diesel Generators to join their team. As a Senior Critical Environment Technician, you will be part of the Critical Environment Operations department supporting maintaining and troubleshooting diesel generator systems. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Generator Technician - Data Center (Contract)

Location : Onsite - Mt. Pleasant, WI

Duration : 18 month contract

Pay Rate : $45 / hour - $48 / hr.+ Benefits & PTO

What's the Job?

• Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on diesel generators, including high-horsepower units (500 kW+)
• Conduct monthly inspections, including oil and coolant level checks, leak detection, battery inspection, and HMI alarm reviews
• Troubleshoot generator issues using OEM diagnostics and escalate unresolved problems
• Maintain accurate documentation of generator running hours, error messages, and maintenance actions
• Collaborate with Critical Environment Managers and Site Engineers to ensure generator systems meet operational standards
