IMEG is growing, and we'd love to have you join our team! We are currently seeking a Senior Commissioning Authority in our Salt Lake City UT office. As a Senior Commissioning Authority you will be responsible for will be responsible for performing the full range of Commissioning (Cx) responsibilities on all building types including large, complex projects, in addition to leading retro-commissioning and energy assessment projects. Tasks include preparing Cx plans and specifications, web-based project management and documentation (Cx Alloy), Cx design reviews, lead construction meetings, perform site observations, develop pre-functional checklists and functional tests, perform functional testing with contractors / owners, issue management, write Cx and related reports, and post occupancy follow-up activities.

Principal Responsibilities :

• Manage and / or support multiple commissioning projects including client interface, team coordination, schedule and budget management;
• Manage a minimum contract value of $500,000;
• Perform Cx reviews of construction documents and equipment submittals;
• Work effectively as a team member;
• Develop commissioning plans, reports, pre-functional checklists, and functional performance test procedures;
• Assist with functional testing of systems;
• Contribute to improving Cx processes and best practices;
• Perform technical analysis of building operation (controls, sequences, etc.);
• Proactively communicate with a wide range of client stakeholders;
• Perform jobsite field observations, write detailed field reports, and lead Cx meetings;
• Contribute to improving Cx processes and creating best practices;
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other engineers, architects, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions that meet project goals;
• Supervise and mentor less-experienced employees in a team-based atmosphere .
