Overview :
Kroll Konstruction is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Contracts Administrator to join our team. You'll act as the administrative and compliance engine for the company, ensuring construction activities and deliverables meet project quality standards, codes, and customer expectations. This role is pivotal in coordinating documentation, tracking project compliance, and supporting project teams from contract execution through closeout.
Responsibilities :
- Draft, coordinate, and execute all subcontracts and other commitments, handling all administrative work after negotiations are complete.
- Process, track, and manage all project submittals and shop drawings to ensure materials and products meet project specifications.
- Assist with managing the final stages of projects, including punch lists, closeout documentation, and warranty information.
- Support the development, implementation, and enforcement of the company’s safety program to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and Client requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives related to QA / QC and safety.
Requirements :
Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.3+ years of experience in construction administration, quality assurance and control, or project coordination with a general contractor strongly preferred.Certifications such as OSHA 30, ACI, ICC, or Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQCM) are a plus.Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards and practices.Knowledge of construction processes, specifications, and codes (local, state, federal).Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.Strong understanding of contract administration, submittals, RFIs, and change order processes.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.Proven ability to manage tasks with precision, solve problems effectively, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.Experience using construction management software; Bluebeam, RedTeam knowledge is a plus.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc).Physical Requirements :
