Gypsy Life, LLC is a leading industrial PCM (Procurement, Construction, and Management) contractor specializing in mining, oil & gas, and heavy industrial projects. From concentrators to large-scale processing facilities, we deliver safe, high-quality work on some of the toughest projects in the industry. We are currently hiring an Industrial Mechanic with hands-on experience maintaining and repairing heavy mining equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment, including mills, crushers, pumps, conveyors, compressors, and material handling systems.Perform routine and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.Diagnose hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical issues and perform corrective actions.Rebuild, install, and align equipment components, including gearboxes, bearings, shafts, and couplings.Fabricate and modify parts as needed (welding, cutting, machining).Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and manuals.Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and QA / QC documentation.Work safely in compliance with MSHA, OSHA, and company safety requirements.Qualifications
4+ years of mechanical maintenance or repair experience in industrial or mining environments.Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing rotating equipment and heavy machinery.Ability to use precision tools for measurement and alignment.Welding and fabrication experience (preferred).Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.Preferred
Prior mining equipment maintenance experience (mills, crushers, pumps, conveyors).Trade school, apprenticeship, or journeyman-level training.Familiarity with Procore, CMMS, or other maintenance tracking systems.Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance crew.Compensation & Benefits
