Job description

Job Title : Senior Nuclear Planner

Duration : 12 Months Contract

Location : Jenkinsville, SC

Good to Know Info

  • All work is done onsite each day
  • Per diem 130 / day, 7 days a week
  • Mobilization will be paid as mileage from permanent residence to work location at the 2022 Govt rate
  • 4 10's Monday - Thursday

Top 3 Required Skills

  • Nuclear Civil and Mechanical Mods Planning Experience
  • Good people and computer skills
  • Ability to read and interpret plant drawings and design packages
  • Nuclear experience is required.

    • Nice to Have Skills :

  • Maximo / PAMs experience

    • High Level Project Overview :

  • This position will be responsible for civil and mechanical planning for our modification projects.
  • The planner will review ECR packages and plan work according to the package.
  • The planner will need to be able to walk down the work in the field in order to accurately plan work packages.
  • All work done onsite

  • Preferred Years of Experience : 5-10
  • Interview Process Overview (High level) : All interviews will be done via Teams meeting or phone call.
  • Targeted Day / Days for Interview : Monday – Thursday
  • Additional Good To Know Info : Work schedule is 10 hours a day 4 days a week. Monday through Thursday.
  • What soft skill requirements do you have (team fit and personality requirements)? Must get along with a variety of people and personalities. This position interfaces with craft and with management.
  • Are there any specific companies / industries you'd like to see in the candidate's experience? Nuclear experience is required
  • What is the preferred candidate location (local, non-local, remote?) and is there flexibility? Local is preferred but will accept non-local. Remote is not possible as planning requires job site walkdowns.
  • At any time is overtime required or would you say it is just available as a function of the job? Overtime will be required during plant outages which happen every 18 months. Night shift may also be required at that time. Overtime is available as a function of the job outside of outages but is rarely needed unless a large ECR project requires additional support.
