Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading provider of advanced energy dispensing equipment, electronic automation and payment systems, automatic tank gauging and subscription solutions to fueling and convenience retail customers worldwide.

This global corporation is dedicated to offering a broad range of solutions that power vehicles, including conventional fuel and clean energy products that support gasoline, diesel, bio-diesel and ethanol as well as LNG, H2, LPG, CNG and EV chargers.

This Billion Dollar company is looking for a Chief Architect who would be leading a team of architects involved in architecting a portfolio of innovative clean energy solutions tied around one of their core ecosystems.

The ideal candidate will have experience commercializing products, based on interpreting customer and market needs into technology driven solutions that will generate revenue. Excellence in technology ideally will be matched by your business and commercial acumen.

In this role, you will work with the leadership team to continue their journey of agile & devops transformation, implementing key levers to enable them to have truly scalable products and solutions with speed to market. This position will report directly to the Sr Director of Engineering and will have a global responsibility for leading architects across various continents.

Ideally you will have :

  • Master of Science in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10+ years’ experience working as an architect and / or engineer, with minimum of 5 years’ experience in senior architecture management role.
  • Influence and collaborate at an Executive team level.
  • Lead and mentor software architect teams by creating a learning environment that recognizes and maximizes the potential of all team members.
  • Leadership of global development centers / large engineering teams 100+
  • Experience with PCI payment standards highly desirable.
  • Experience with GDPR and CCPA data privacy standards highly desirable.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, App Insights, TeamCity, Jira, Chef, Jenkins, Service Fabric, Kubernetes, GitHub, and others.
  • Experience with embedded operating systems.
  • Experience working with tools such as Databricks and Power BI.
  • Extensive experience designing platform and application architectures with common frameworks and design patterns, especially for solutions built using microservices.
  • Extensive experience working in SaaS development teams.
  • Significant experience working with teams building large scale Azure IoT PaaS solutions.
  • TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect and CISSP certifications highly desirable.
