About The Role :

This role is a fantastic opportunity to work as an embedded resource with one of the largest Utilities in the United States. As a technical leader, this position is responsible for a wide range of transmission ratings responsibilities for Facility Ratings, Ambient Adjusted Ratings, and Dynamic Line Ratings.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities :

• Support organizational compliance with NERC FAC-008 as well as FERC Order 881
• Provide feedback, clarifications, and technical direction to project teams to ensure proper facility ratings models and processes are completed in a timely manner to meet compliance requirements
• Understand and effectively use tools and systems including SubTran, DDLR, and EMS that support the ratings process
• Create process documentation around the ratings process and suggest process improvements
• Update and maintain Bulk Electric System (BES) lists
• Provide tracking for capital projects and support continuous process improvement, lessons learned, and feedback loops.
