HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Augusta, Georgia.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Specialty : PCU - Progressive Care Unit

  • 36 hours per week
  • Shift : 12 hours, days, nights
  • Employment Type : Local Contract

Unit Specifics :

  • Number of Beds :   29
  • Patient Ratios :   1 : 4 ideally, currently running 1 : 5
  • Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) :   UC and PCT
  • Type of equipment :   Alaris IV pumps, Welch Allyn VS machines, bladder scan, vein finder.
  • Documentation system :   Meditech
  • Scheduling requirements :   36 hours per week
  • Floating policy :   All staff float to areas of their competencies
  • Patient Experience requirements :   Must provide safe, high quality and compassionate care

    • Hospital Specifics-

  • Certifications :   ACLS

    • Must have :

    Advanced skills needed :   ACLS, familiar with cardiac drip and insulin drips

    2 yrs RN experience

    13 weeks contract / 36 hrs per week

    Every other weekend required

    We provide opportunities for Local or Travel contracts, and Per Diem positions across various cities and states. Message for additional rates.
