FL-DOE-OSFA-Budget Analysts-Policy Analyst - The candidate will be doing professional accounting, budgeting & financial reporting.
The training will be very technical & a very good understanding of accounting is critical for success in this job

CANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Maintains various specialized accounting records
- Compiles and analyses of large amounts of financial data
- Ability to read and interpret statutes and regulations
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) & Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) Pronouncements
- Understanding of Genal Ledgers, Trail Balances, and GAAP Financial Statements
- Knowledge of Microsoft (ex. Excel, Word, Access, etc.)
MANDATORY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE :
Must have CPA or BS in AccountingMust have 10+ yrs of working with FASB / GASBMust have 10+ yrs of financial statements preparationMust be advanced in Microsoft OfficeMust have General Ledger systems experience (Quickbooks, PeachTree, CYMA, FLAIR, etc.)Ability to create, update and manage desk proceduresMust have financial & programmatic compliance audits experience
