About the Role

As our Payroll & HR Specialist, you’ll play a vital dual role—managing multi-state payroll processing while supporting key HR administrative functions across the full employee lifecycle. You'll be the go-to person for payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing, and collaborating cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and team leaders to maintain employee data and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards.

This position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, a passion for operational excellence, and experience working in a fast-paced, multi-state organization.

Requirements : What You’ll Do

Payroll 50%

• Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls in Paylocity for multi-state teams
• Serve as the first point of contact for payroll inquiries and manage the payroll inbox
• Troubleshoot and resolve payroll and tax issues, including agency coordination
• Set up and manage garnishments, severance, bonuses, and retroactive pay
• Review hourly rates and timecards for accuracy across states and locations
• Collaborate on payroll calendars and reporting with HR and Finance
• Support internal and external payroll audits and regulatory compliance
• Ensure payroll deadlines are met in alignment with internal controls and state / federal law
