Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : RN Specialty : Medical / Surgical Tele Duration : 9 weeks Shift : 12-hour Day Shift Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : 2 years of RN experience, 1 year of Med Tele Acute Care Inpatient experience, Cerner experience required License : Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state / district Certifications : NIHSS, BLS, ACLS Required Must-Have : BSN - Highly desired, ability to complete a Telemetry rhythm interpretation test prior to start Description : Fulfills the needs of the patients, families, and community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner. Applies knowledge of growth and development over the lifespan necessary to provide age-appropriate care. Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patients' needs. Demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment needed by these patients. Makes an initial assessment and determines appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidenced by appropriate documentation. Performs initial and ongoing assessments on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, as evidenced by appropriate documentation. Completes admission assessments in the time frame established, according to policy and procedures.
