Job descriptionActive and unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP preferred) in New York Previous experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Room setting Ability to work both independently and collaboratively under physician supervision Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including exams and history reviews Order and interpret diagnostic tests to support clinical decisions Prescribe medications and recommend appropriate lifestyle modifications Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient records and treatment plans Educate and counsel patients and their families on conditions, treatments, and preventive care Collaborate with medical staff to ensure continuity and quality of care Familiarity with urgent care protocols and electronic medical records Comfortable managing a broad range of acute and chronic conditions Passion for providing patient-centered care in a community-based setting
