Women's Health Nurse Practitioner - Mercy Health Lima, OH (.8 FTE)

Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, Ohio is seeking a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner as we grow our Women’s Health Service Line in our new Women’s Health Center.    This ambulatory practice will be designed to provide comprehensive care for the women of our community.

• Treatment of perimenopausal / menopausal symptoms.
• Prefer experience with hormone therapy / sexual health treatments.
• Experience with family medicine with the desire to provide comprehensive care for women throughout their lifespan.
• Conduct health assessments for new hormone / wellness patients, including laboratory assessments and physical examinations.
• Prescribe medications, supplements, and treatments as appropriate.
• Evaluate and care for patients for bio-identical hormone replacement therapy.
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plan based on patient progress and laboratory results.
• Assess, diagnosis, develop and implement individualized treatment plans for conditions of low testosterone, menopause symptoms, and thyroid disorders.
• Provide education on the benefits, risks, and potential side effects of hormone therapies, as well as lifestyle recommendations to support overall wellness.
• Community Outreach events
• .8 FTE (4 days / week)
• EMR is EPIC
