Manager is NOT looking to source out of any other tech hub that is not listed at this moment

Ability to work remote : Yes, 3 days in office, 2 remote

Travel : Yes - If not in PA hub, then will be expected to travel to PA occasionally

Target Start Date : 10 / 01 / 25

Intended length of Assignment : 9 months

Function of the Group : Developing Data Requirements based on Regulation Requirements

Initiatives / Projects : P-342301, There has been a reorg and the current group has been split in 2. 1 half is in BSAM, and the other half is going under treasury. This team is supporting both groups under the same project. Once side is helping and implementing all the model related monitoring, which is the main project being worked on. They are converting / implementing around 150 model monitoring of the automated process. There are some huge initiatives related to this. The second half under treasury finance supporting regulatory filings. Primary focus is that one is supporting BSAM for model execution and model development.

Industry background : Testing background. Banking experience is desirable

Team Dynamic : 12 / all of them are 5+ years / Pittsburgh / Dallas / OffShore

Roles and Responsibilities :

Testing, using different for testing and test automation.

Using JIRA X-ray to gather all the testing and documentation aspects

Implementing test scripts / test scenario and writing their own test scripts using Python Spark. All projects are Hadoop Python Spark

Should be independently able to write scripts to test

Coordinate other QE's and collect evidences and make sure it gets complied based on PNC standard testing formats. X-Ray app we use for collecting all these documents to be able to get submitted.

Interview Process :

Video interview with manager (1 hour max)

In-person interview - Technical Assessment - (1 hour) & In-person Panel interview - same day as round 2 - (1 hour)

Summary :

Responsible for implementing quality assurance programs and code, test, and verify the quality of automated applications to identify errors and solutions in the software.

Job Responsibilities :

Work with QA Analysts and Developers to ensure that all aspects of the system have proper testing coverage and overall system reliability, performance and quality.

Comply with the system development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodology (PMLC) by participating in scope assessment, risk and cost analysis.

May coach, lead and mentor other team members.

Provide testing management for ongoing projects and future initiatives.

Deliver effective and efficient testing solutions by meeting key project milestones and overall project deliverables on time, and adhering to development and quality standards.

Analyze the testing needs and develop testing strategy and plans.

Review and approve test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures such as database impacts, software scenarios or usability.

Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance or completeness and / or to mitigate risks.

Ensure application documentation is complete and maintained / updated in a timely fashion.

Perform other duties as assigned

Education / Experience :

High School Degree and Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Relevant field is desirable or equivalent work experience required.

8+ years experience leading quality assurance projects / programs
