Community Based Services Lead

Overview

AbbeHealth Services is a regional nonprofit organization dedicated to providing mental health and aging services that help individuals achieve their optimum levels of independence and success. Abbe Center for Community Mental Health is a subsidiary of AbbeHealth Services.

This position is designed to assist adults with serious mental illness to live in a supportive living environment. We are seeking an individual with excellent communication skills to work in a progressive setting with an emphasis on responsibilities of day-to-day operations within a community-based setting, as well as program development and oversight.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

For individuals with an Associate's degree in a human service-related field, at least 1 year of experience working in a human-service related field.

For individuals without a degree, at least 2 years of experience working in a human-service related field.

Experience working in Medicaid waiver programs.

Prior management / leadership experience preferred. Valid Iowa driver's license required.
