Job description
Visiting Angels of St. Petersburg-Largo, is a Nurse Registry, that is seeking Patient Aides & Nurse Helpers (Certified HHAs or licensed CNAs) for non-medical home care throughout Pinellas County.

While we specialize in facilitating Senior Care, we also facilitate care for adults with disabilities and those needing assistance with post-surgery and recovery care.

Whether you're a seasoned professional or just starting out, we encourage you to submit your resume or brief description of your experience today!

You are always in control of selecting clients that work best for you and fit your availability. Caregivers are registered as Independent Contractors, not Employees. This means you have the Flexibility and Control of managing your own Client referrals and bill rates.

Client Requested Services Can Include:
Hygiene Care
Companionship & Socialization
Homemaking /Light Cleaning
Meal Preparation and Planning
Organization & Calendar Management
Transportation to Appointments and Outings


CREDENTIALING NEEDED TO REGISTER:
  • Active Florida CNA License - OR -
  • Home Health Aide Certification minimum 40 hours (AHCA approved)
  • Valid Photo ID
  • Current Adult CPR Certification
  • (AIDS) Bloodborne Pathogens Certification
  • Assistance with Self-administration of Medication Certification
  • Health Statement (free from communicable disease)
  • Level 2 Background Screening https://info.flclearinghouse.com
  • Liability Insurance

Patient Aide, Nurse Helper, Companions, Homemakers (HMKS), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) registered with our Nurse Registry are considered Independent Contractors, not employees of our Nurse Registry.
As an accredited, regulated, and licensed Nurse Registry, Visiting Angels complies with all state/local mandates NR30211274.
