About the Role
Vice President of Public Relations, Brand Marketing, Licensing & Collaborations will lead the strategic vision and execution of public relations and brand marketing initiatives across Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, Pottery Barn Teen, and Dormify.
What you’ll do
- Lead and manage public relations and brand marketing efforts across the Pottery Barn Kids, Pottery Barn Teen, and Pottery Barn brands, ensuring cohesive and impactful messaging to grow our brand media impressions and brand awareness / reach
- Develop and execute strategic collaboration and licensing partnerships, negotiating deals and maintaining strong relationships with key external partners to drive business growth
- Oversee a team of eight professionals, including three direct reports (one director and two managers), providing leadership, mentorship, and performance management to achieve departmental goals
- Collaborate closely with the design team and other cross-functional partners to identify new partnership opportunities, align on brand vision, and co-create compelling marketing initiatives
- Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, managing communications, resolving issues, and ensuring successful partnership execution and satisfaction
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform PR and marketing strategies, continuously enhancing brand positioning and visibility in the marketplace

Proven experience in public relations and brand marketing, preferably at a senior leadership level within the retail or consumer goods industryDemonstrated success in managing and negotiating high‑value licensing and collaboration partnershipsStrong ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with external partners, including celebrity and influencer connectionsExceptional negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable deal terms and exclusivitiesExperience leading and developing a team, with at least three direct reports including directors and managersAbility to work cross‑functionally with design, marketing, and other internal teams to align brand vision and partnership goalsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional demeanor suitable for high‑profile external interactionsStrategic thinker with the capacity to manage multiple Pottery Barn brands and navigate complex organizational dynamicsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.Willingness to adapt and thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment with a focus on collaboration and innovation.Our Culture & Values

The expected starting pay range for this position is $250,000 - $280,000. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job‑related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
