Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Attleboro, MA 02703 (Massachusetts travel nursing jobs)

Healthcare Setting : 15-bed Labor & Delivery Unit

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Shift : Night shifts, 12 hours (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend

Patient Age Groups : Neonates, Adults

Start Date : November 17, 2025

End Date : February 16, 2026

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1860 - $2000

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience in a hospital or clinical setting

Active Massachusetts RN license (required for all Massachusetts nursing jobs)

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Beginner (required); AWHONN Advanced and Intermediate (preferred)

Prior travel nursing experience required

Cerner electronic charting experience preferred

COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical exemptions for flu only)

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive patient care to laboring mothers and newborns using a couplet care model

Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and postpartum care in a clinical environment

Provide breastfeeding and lactation education to new mothers

Administer medications and manage IVs using Omnicell and infusion pumps

Monitor fetal heart rates with external and internal fetal monitoring equipment

Conduct newborn assessments, APGAR scoring, and educate families on newborn care

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, radiology, and social services

Utilize SBAR communication for effective patient handoffs and safety

Maintain infection control, isolation precautions, and PPE protocols
