The Sr. Maintenance Mechanic repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, pneumatic tools, production machines, building / facility, as well as preventative maintenance and emergency response by performing the following duties. Under minimum supervision, maintain, analyze and correct problems of standard and sophisticated equipment.

Job Summary :

• Make repairs, replacements, adjustments, inspections, trouble shoot, and preventative maintenance on all mechanical equipment.
• General mechanical maintenance, on various mechanical equipment such as, pumps, cranes, hoist, hydraulic systems, vacuum pumps, and basic vehicle repairs
• Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts and examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
• Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
• Operates all types of conventional power tools
• Lubricates, cleans, paint
• Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
• Drive forklift, aerial boom lifts, scissors lifts, and small truck
• Repairs electrical equipment, run conduit
• Physical Protection and Monitoring
• Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements. Start devices to test their performance.
• Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
• Arc, gas, tig / mig welding
• Install new equipment
• Layout jobs and complies bill of material
• Assists in training new employees & trainees

Pay Range : $23.00 - $33.00 (hourly estimate)
