Objectives Of This Role
- Manage a Business section and the Hanover, MD office for the Defense & Intelligence Solutions Division. This would include facility management and assistance in the maintenance of SCIF Accreditation and approval.
- Assist in growing a team of engineers and computer scientists while working with program managers to assist in customer interactions on the technical and programmatic aspects of programs across the SIGINT Solutions and Software Engineering Departments.
- Grow the business organically through Business Development, marketing, writing proposals and developing estimates for customers.
- Customer interaction and growing the section is a significant part of the role.
- Routine collaboration with the SIGINT Solutions and Software Engineering department, as well as other Division 16 departments to better understand existing and upcoming capabilities, to better support and guide capture opportunities and customer interactions.
Daily And Monthly Responsibilities
Grow the section through marketing, Business Development, writing proposals, creating estimates, and finding business opportunities.Weekly communications and collaborations with various departments within Division 16, which may require travel to San Antonio.Supporting the CSSO and ensuring preparedness for security inspections, COMSEC needs, being a back up to respond to alarms (as needed) and other security needs.Leading the management of the facility, to include understanding the leasing arrangements, support contractors and visitor meetings, and other areas for the facility, notifying leasing agent of facility needs or issues.Direct interactions with customers within the area, attending Industry Days, conferences to support marketing and business development.Working with the customer to understand acquisition approaches, challenges and needs they have, and communicating with SA leadership on these.Requirements
Requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent engineering degree with related experience.10 years : Technical engineering experience with at least 4 years experience as a technical engineering manager. Understanding development project life cycles and managing risks with the customers.10 years : Shown experience writing proposals, developing estimates, and presenting to / managing customers. High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, and creating and conducting presentations.Understanding various USG Acquisition strategies, general DFARs related to USG contract.Highly effective communicator and collaborator, both in writing and verbally.A valid / clear driver's license is required.Salary Range : $132,891 - $221,520Special Requirements
Work assignment is in Hanover, Maryland. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
