What you will do

The Technical Operations Co-Op is a 12-month experience designed to help college students develop leadership, technical, and communication skills through practical business experience and ongoing training, development, coaching and mentorship. This role will enable the student to have real-life work application of concepts and theories learned in the classroom. This is a full-time (40 hours per week) assignment.

We plan to hire multiple Co-Op students across several functional roles within Technical Operations. Each Co-Op will be assigned to various projects and will support Full Time Employees according to business needs. Below are examples of the various functional roles for which Co-Op positions may be available.

Product and Process Development : Develop new formula or scale-up processes, optimize existing formula / process, manage pilot plant manufacturing batches, and / or perform laboratory testing and evaluations of these formulas. Additionally, may explore scientific evidence supporting the innovations.

Consumer & Sensory Science, Clinical Testing and Technology Development : Interdisciplinary roles connecting various aspects of product science, consumer psychology and perception, computational analysis and modeling, data management, market research, etc.

Key Responsibilities

• In a timely and prompt manner, identify, report, and seek correction for deviations noted in my workplace.
• Support pharmaceutical dosage form development, validation, post-validation activities, and off-shift manufacturing projects when necessary.
• Complete project initiatives including, but not limited to, project mapping, process monitoring, and the evaluation of liquid and solid dosage pharmaceuticals.
• Attend GMP training on the schedule designated for the role as appropriate. Locations could include : 7050 Camp Hill Road, Fort Washington

Hourly pay rate for new hires in this position ranges :

$20.00 - $45.00
