FLSA Status : Non-Exempt Reports To : Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Clinical Supervisor Department : Clinical Services

Position Summary

The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a paraprofessional who delivers one-to-one applied behavior analysis (ABA) services under the close, ongoing supervision of a BCBA / BCaBA. The RBT implements treatment plans targeting skill acquisition and behavior reduction, ensures accurate data collection, and supports client safety and dignity in clinic, home, or community settings.

Requirements :

Minimum Qualifications

Active RBT credential (BACB) at time of hire (If you intend to hire pre-cert candidates, replace with : “RBT credential required within 60 days; paid training provided.”)

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

= 1 year experience providing ABA services to children with ASD

Consistent availability for listed schedule; reliable, punctual attendance

Skills & Competencies

Applied behavior analysis fundamentals (reinforcement, prompting hierarchies, shaping, chaining)

Teaching methods : DTT, NET, task analysis, generalization programming

Behavior reduction per BIP (antecedent strategies, differential reinforcement, extinction as directed)

Accurate data collection and basic graph review using electronic systems

Professional communication with families and teammates; maintains confidentiality (HIPAA)

Team-oriented, coachable, growth mindset; de-escalation and safety awareness

Other Requirements

Background check and eligibility to work in the U.S.

CPR / First Aid (or ability to obtain within 30 days)

Ability to lift / pivot up to ~30 lbs, sit / stand / kneel on the floor, and move between rooms quickly to ensure client safety

Reliable transportation for occasional in-home / school sessions; willing to travel up to ~25% locally as scheduled

Ability to commute to Roswell, GA (relocation prior to start preferred if not local)
