RN Position Job Notes :
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity : RN - Med Surg
Job Details :
- Work 3 days per week with every other weekend requirement
- Patient ratio of 5 : 1 on each unit
- Float between MS2 and MS3 units (27 beds each)
- Work with post-operative patients, especially orthopedic cases
- Perform blood transfusions and IV / central line maintenance
- Use Computer on Wheels, Pyxis medication system, and Welch Allen vital sign machines
- Work with Medhost documentation system transitioning to Meditech
- Unit secretaries available during day shift, techs available on all shifts
- Basic Med / Surg experience required with post-op patient experience
- BLS certification required, ACLS preferred but not required
- Dark blue uniform dress code required
- Access to brand new computer on wheels and vital sign equipment
