Director, Business Finance (Commercial)

Description : JOB SUMMARY :

Novocure is seeking a finance leader to lead the Business Finance function for our commercial business. In this high impact role, you will lead decision making support and financial planning and analysis for commercial initiatives across the world. In addition, this role will lead planning efforts for new indications, oversee business case development for new markets, deliver financial insights, and provide actionable management reporting. You will be working closely with key stakeholders across the commercial teams. You will be a senior leader on a team responsible for coordinating and facilitating corporate planning processes, monitoring financial performance, reporting financial and operational results, and improving financial results. Lastly, you will help lead both the business finance team and broader finance organization.

This position is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Vice President of Business Finance, based in our Baar, Switzerland office or Chesterbrook, PA office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Serve as an advisor to the functional leadership in areas related to financial resource allocation, business growth, and financial execution
• Lead the business finance teams for our commercial businesses, ensuring business finance has a presence at decision making table and is adding value to strategic and operational decisions
• Lead across the Business Finance team and broader Finance organization, including to lead multi team projects and resolve issues across the Finance organization
• Connect long term strategy to current operational activities
• Responsible for completing the long range plan in concert with other Business Finance team leaders and commercial leaders
• Responsible for revenue forecasting and performance management
• Lead financial planning efforts for new indications, including be a key member of decision making committees for future commercialization efforts
• Oversee business case development for new markets
• Work closely with market access and value to ensure pricing is optimized across the world
