We are seeking a mission-driven Data Engineer to act as the technical partner across the full customer lifecycle, from pre-sales through post-sales adoption. This role works closely with Machine Learning, Customer Success, and Product to support technical discovery, demos, implementations, and ongoing customer engagement. You will serve as a primary technical resource for prospects and customers, answering questions, unblocking adoption, and translating customer needs into clear, actionable feedback for the product team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop data exchange protocols and ETL pipelines using cloud services such as Cloud Functions, AWS Lambdas and ECS to facilitate the transfer of data between parties.
- Build vector databases to store and manage complex healthcare terminology using Aurora DB and Postgres.
- Design and optimize large-scale Spark workloads on AWS EMR and Cloud Dataproc.
- Ensure the security and integrity of our data infrastructure by implementing appropriatesecurity measures and data governance policies.
Who You Are :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, a related field, or equivalent experience3+ years of experience as a data engineer, preferably in a data-intensive industry (healthcare, banking, etc.)Experience with traditional programming languages such as Python, Java, or ScalaExperience leading the design and implementation of data infrastructure projects on GCPExperience with ETL and Big Data services and frameworks such as Cloud Dataproc, BigQuery, Apache Spark, and others.Experience with GCP services like Cloud Storage, CloudSQL, Cloud Functions, Cloud WorkflowsExperience developing cloud infrastructure using TerraformKnowledge of data governance and security best practicesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentPassion for using data to improve healthcare outcomes
