Responsibilities Work in a short-term acute care hospital on the CT Tech unit Evening shift schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 2 : 00 PM to 10 : 30 PM Weekend shifts on Saturday and Sunday are required Department requires 2-4 days of on-call per month Patient ratio is 1 : 1 Block scheduling is in place Epic EMR is used and experience is required Travelers may be required to float to nearby sister facilities as needed Must be willing and able to float between all facilities within the state as needed Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as travelers Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay Scrub color is any color for CT Tech; specialty areas provide scrubs Candidates must commit to working 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day) Time off requests must be submitted up front; requests over 6 days may delay offer approval Completion of pre-start and annual non-billable onboarding modules is required Parking is free at the facility Requirements Minimum of 1 year CT Tech experience required Must have an active OR license or be able to provide proof it is in process (license required if applicable) Epic EMR experience required References : 2 supervisory references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for travel between facilities Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-615797.
